for usage of medicinal product
SENNADEX (Senadexum-retard)

General characteristic:
Main physical - chemical properties: tablets of grey-brown colour with sprinklings, with flavour of vanillin.
Content:
tablet contains: extract of senna in calculation to 20 % content of sennozides of calcium A and B - 0,07 g;
excipients: milk sugar, corn starch, pregelatinized starch, sodium croscarmellose, microcrystallic cellulose, vanillin, nipagin, calcium stearate.
Form of output: Tablets
Pharmacological group: Purgative remedy
Pharmacological properties: It appears purgative action, appearing as softening or diluting of excrement. Putative effect begins in 6 - 10 hours after administration of the medicinal product and is connected with inhibiting of absorbance of liquid from thick intestine and its influence to peristalsis. The medicinal product acts selectively to colon, restores normal function of intestine. Tablets of "Sennadex" don't cause accustoming, don't irritate intestine.
Indications for administration: It is administrated under acute and chronic constipations.
Way of administration and dosage: For adults it is administrated 1 tablet before the sleep. If necessary the dose may be increased to 2 - 3 tablets per one taking.
Side effects: Increased doses of the medicinal product can cause meteorism, pains in abdomen like colics, diarrhoea. In case of appearance of side effects the administration of the medicinal product should be stopped or its dose should be decreased by two times.
Contraindications: Impassibility of intestine, appendicitis and other inflammatory diseases of organs of abdomen, spastic colitis, wounded hernia, constipations of neurogene and endocrine nature.
Interaction with other drugs: Ii is not administrated during two hours before or after administration of other medicinal products, because this can decrease absorbance and efficacy of the last.
Particulars of administration: It is not recommended to administrate the medicinal product for a long time (more than one week) without prescription of doctor to avoid of diarrhoea, dehydratation and antonia of thick intestine.
Storage conditions and shelf-life: Keep in dry place, at temperature not more than 15 0C. Shelf-life - 2 years.
Conditions of output: Without prescription.
Packing: 12 tablets in contour cell package; 30, 50 or 100 capsules into polymer container.
